Ulster Squash offers off-court pre-season fitness training to Area Programme Players and Performance Players. The training will focus on speed/speed endurance, agility/quickness and on dynamic flexibility. Weekly sessions will alternate between on indoors at Lisburn Raquets Club and one outdoors in the grounds of the Queen's PEC/Botanic Garden.
First session on Thursday July 15 at 7pm in Lisburn.
Minimum age: 14 years
Cost: £2/session (Free for Performance Players on Individual Support Programmes).
ULSTER SQUASH UNDER 15 GRAND PRIX IN BANBRIDGE, 6 JUNE 2010.
Ulster squash is inviting players to the nextU15 Grand Prix, open only to players who have not represtented the province at U15 or above or have participated in the performance programme for 1 year or more.

ANTI-DOPING
Ulster Squash has been advised by SportNi that the Anti-Doping Rules of Ulster Squash comprised in Rule 2.6, is no longer satisfactory to comply with World Anti-Doping Code Compliance 2009.
Rule 2.6 has been replaced as below:
In the area of anti-doping, Ulster Squash defers to the jurisdiction of Irish Squash
Further to clause 1
the anti-doping rules of Ulster Squash (the 'Anti-Doping Rules') apply to the sport of squash in the province of Ulster; and
persons participating in the sport of squash under the jurisdiction of Ulster Squash who qualify as 'Participants' (as the term is defined in te Anti-Doping Rules) are bound by and must comply in all respects with the Anti-Doping Rule

IRISH SQUASH SEMINAR FOR COACHES IN DUBLIN

The theme of the seminar is how to bring-on squash in Ireland in the present environment.
The Ulster Junior Closed will this year be held at Lisburn Racquets Club on 30-31 January 2010. The following categories will be played Boys & Girls U/11 U/13 U/15 U/17 U/19.
