The March European rankings are the first to include points gained by the players who attended the Welsh Junior Open, one of the designated events on the Ulster Squash Junior Programme. The event was attended by Ben Craig, Michael Caig, Peter Hughes, Niamh O'Hare, Gabriella McMillan, Cathryn Abernethy, Michael Ross, Ruari Glavin, Matthew McNabb, Eva McMillan, Rachel Black, Ashley Black, Michael Stewart and Jordan Annett.
MARCH 2008 RANKINGS
The new rankings see Ulster with two players in the top 15 in Europe. Michael Craig (Boys under 13, Harlequins) and Theodore Anderson (Boys under 17, Gloucestershire) are nos. 9 and 12 respectively. Congratulations to both players!
Cathryn Abernethy, Ben Craig and Niamh O'Hare show justified improvement in their rankings moving into the top 50.
Both Gabriella McMillan and Jordan Annett climb into the top 100 in what has been an excellent rise in the past 6 months.
NEXT EVENTS
April sees both Cathryn Abernethy and Ben Craig making the journey to the German Junior Open in Munich in preparation for the European Under 17 Team Championships. Good luck to both players!
