The objectives for the Grand Prix are;
The Grand Prix will consist of mixed leagues, based upon standard of play, NOT age group. There are two Grand Prix events planned in the coming season. Each event will be supervised by a suitably qualified and vetted Ulster Squash Event Coordinator. Entrants will be divided into groups, each containing five players, thus giving each player 4 matches per day. In the event that opponent pulls out, or is injured, then the player shall be awarded a walkover. Players will book their place through an entry form system run through the main office at Ulster Squash. There will be a MAXIMUM of 30 places on each event. Places shall be reserved on a first come, first served basis, with a reserve list operating once the event is full. Results from the event shall go toward an each player’s Ulster Junior Grand Prix ranking. Players shall be placed in each group according to their place on the Ulster Grand Prix ranking ladder. Each league winner shall receive a free individual lesson with one of the Ulster Squash performance coaches, and will be presented with a league winner’s medal. On the last event of the season, there will be a Grand Prix presentation, at which the following awards and prizes shall be presented; Grand Prix WinnerThis award shall be presented to the player who is ranked 1 in the grand prix ladder at the end of the season; Grand Prix Runner UpThis award shall be presented to the player who is ranked 2 in the grand prix ladder at the end of the season;
